From about 12 videos a month, a plan costs less than packs.
How credits work
- When you're charged: a credit is used when you export: download the MP4, captions and post text. If an export fails, the credit comes back.
- Fixes: after you export a video, one corrected version of it within 7 days is free. If the fix makes the video longer than 30 seconds, it costs the 1-credit difference.
- Expired downloads: a download link that has expired (after 30 days) renders the same video again for free.
- Draft limits: you can hold up to 3 unexported drafts per credit, and always at least one full batch of 10 while you have free exports left or have bought before.
- Expiry: plan credits last until the end of their billing period: the month, or the year on annual billing. Pack credits last 12 months. We use the credits that expire soonest first.
- What credits can't do: they have no cash value, can't be transferred, and buy only videos on Photic Labs.
Changing or cancelling a plan
- Upgrading: takes effect at once. You pay the prorated difference for the rest of the period and get the same share of the extra credits.
- Downgrading: takes effect at your next renewal. You keep this period's plan and credits until then.
- Switching between monthly and annual: not in the app yet. Cancel, and choose the other billing once your period ends.
- Cancelling: one step in the app. Your plan and its credits last until the period ends, and pack credits are never affected.
Refunds
Ask within 14 days of your first payment, for a plan or a pack:
- if you've used 5 or fewer of its credits, you get a full refund;
- otherwise, you get back the share of the price for the credits you haven't used.
See the refund policy.
